Cherry Valley Bookstore is an independent bookstore located at 81 Alden Street in Cherry Valley, NY. With more than 15,000 volumes, our collection is quite eclectic - ranging from New York history to vintage mystery.

We have books for children of all ages from pre-readers to adolescents, including a wide selection of classic children’s books.

We carry many of the classics in poetry, fiction, and drama; plus literary criticism and other scholarly works. In general fiction, we have novels from the Victorian period forward.

If vintage paperbacks are your thing, we have mysteries, detective stories, science fiction, and westerns, including some very collectible first editions.

Our nonfiction collection includes an entire wall of New York history and American history. Nonfiction ranges from Art & Architecture to Zoology and includes Cooking, Do-It-Yourself Guides, Medical Reference, Military History, Music, Natural History, Philosophy, and Religion.
